The Michigan Web Account Manager (MiWAM) is the UI’s way of managing your own UI account online by providing an online platform or a portal for authorized users. The Michigan Web Account Manager helps users to do business with the UI more simply, faster, and more efficiently.
https://www.michigan.gov/uia is the online portal that provides an online platform for authorized users to log in and get access to their online accounts.
Logging into the MiWAM UIA (Unemployment Insurance Agency) accounts will allow users to get access to their personal information and insurance policies, all at their fingertips. Logging into your MiWAM will allow you to complete the following tasks and features.
- Check the insurance claim balance and benefits
- View payment history and transactions online
- Update personal and profile information
- Choose or change your payment method to a debit card
- Deposit cash directly to your account
- Submit a question for a response by email
- Make a payment
- File a protest or appeal a decision
- Submit monthly work search information
